AI-Powered Mother’s Day Tribute Video for the Centro Oncológico Nacional “Doctor Juan Ignacio Gutiérrez Sacasa”
The challenge
Traditional Mother’s Day messaging often focuses on celebration alone. This project required a more thoughtful approach—one that recognized the complex emotions experienced by mothers undergoing cancer treatment while still creating a message of dignity, hope, gratitude, and love.
The video needed to:
- Honor mothers receiving treatment at the oncology center
- Connect emotionally with patients, families, and staff
- Reflect Nicaraguan culture and family values
- Be produced efficiently within a limited timeframe
- Deliver a high-quality cinematic experience despite limited access to original footage

What was our approach?
Using a modern AI-assisted production workflow, we developed a fully custom visual narrative that focused on the many expressions of motherhood across Nicaragua.
The storytelling centered on:

- Hope in difficult circumstances
- The enduring impact of mothers in their families and communities
Every scene was carefully designed to feel authentic to Nicaraguan life, drawing inspiration from local neighborhoods, homes, traditions, and relationships.
Creative Process
Concept Development
We developed a script that moved beyond a traditional Mother’s Day greeting, creating an emotional narrative that acknowledged the different experiences of motherhood while offering encouragement and recognition.
AI Image Generation
Using NanoBanana, custom scenes were created to portray authentic Nicaraguan families, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, caregivers, and everyday moments of love and connection.
Cinematic Video Production
Static imagery was transformed into living scenes using a combination of Google Omni and Kling, creating subtle camera movement, emotional performances, and cinematic storytelling.
Voice & Audio
Narration was produced using ElevenLabs, allowing for a warm and emotionally engaging delivery that complemented the visuals.
Post-Production
All assets were assembled, edited, color-balanced, and finalized in Adobe Premiere Pro, where pacing, music, transitions, and emotional flow were refined into a cohesive final piece.
Results
The final video delivered a deeply personal and culturally relevant tribute that resonated with patients, families, and healthcare professionals alike.
